The brewing process, simply explained. Every brewer adds their own twist.
Grain is germinated and dried to produce malt.
The malted grains are crushed.
Warm water is added. Enzymes turn starch into sugars.
The sweet liquid, called wort, is separated from the grain.
Hops contribute bitterness and aroma, among other things.
The wort is cooled before the yeast is added.
Yeast turns sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide.
The beer is given time to develop its flavour.
A great glass of beer. Enjoy every sip.
